spring scent..

...although today was a bit wild, wooly and certainly wet and not at all spring like.

Out for a very soggy walk to Piesse Brook this afternoon and the site of a now vanished house by the creek is evidenced by huge bushes of flowering rosemary, a small stone fruit orchard and in spring, mass plantings of jonquils and daffodils which wake up as the seasons change.
