Teenage breakfast treat

It's so gratifying to discover that the sleepover (in our tent) last night got the teenagers up at an earlier hour this morning. They had already prepared the accompaniment to the Scotch pancakes before I even arrived to assist.

They did comment "who cuts down trees at 8 a.m. On a Saturday?" Our neighbours, apparently.
