A long travelling day to Wick for a Cabinet Meeting and then an excellent , well attended Public Meeting at which we were welcomed by Caithness Civic Leader , SNP Cllr Gail Ross.

She also spoke at the start of the Cabinet to tell us quite a lot about her passion for her town of Wick . She finished by reciting a fine little poem in the local dialect which was sharp , funny , well observed and positive about the future - and written by herself.
