Crocosmia again!

Had to go into Leeds for emergency lens purchase this morning as my 18-35's auto function has stopped functioning automatically. No Canon lenses left so came away with a Tamron 18-200. Maybe the tekkie blippers could tell me if that was a good buy or not?!
