I arrived and discovered that my camera wasn't working. So for a few days borrowed a camera from my travel companion whenever I fancied taking a photo.

After a few days I went to a camera shop and it was only a wee problem with the battery and they fixed it immediately. A few months later, once I was a blipper, I'd have been much more anxious about not having a working camera.

So, this is the only photo I have of Sydney........

It was taken at about 5 in the evening. Lots of folk had finished work and immediately headed to the beach.....oh to be able to do that in Edinburgh, sigh..
