Is that all there is?

I got up before dawn and went back to Pittenweem to watch the fishing boats coming in. I knew there were only a handful of working boats still in the harbour, I did not expect that the only fish I would see would be a bucket of flat fish.

Talking to the fishermen, the only catch these days are prawns and not many of those. The boat in the picture landed 5 cases, that's all.

Competition has gone as well. The little langoustine are frozen on arrival and shipped out on trucks as soon as they land.
