The Library of Birmingham

The Library of Birmingham, as it's officially known, was opened in 2013, and soon gained almost a cult following. And I can see why; the architecture is really interesting, and the interior design is brilliant as well. There are so many levels, with interesting little corners and areas to discover. I love it.

As you can see in the image above, there is currently an outdoor exhibition of vintage aerial photographs of different British scenes., some going back to the very early days of flying. This was particularly interesting to me as I have a background association with aerial photography from my RAF days
