Fun at the beach

Today CJ and I had to complete our drive north - the plan was to stop about halfway at a softplay. However, just as we were approaching the turn off, CJ decided to drift off and have a nap - so I kept driving to see how far I would get.

And he didn't wake until we were about 30 mins from home!

Once home we had heaps of fun playing in the garden, waiting for S2 to arrive home!

And after he got home and the hugs & cuddles were complete, we jumped into the car and headed down to the beach for some fun before bedtime. CJ loved working with his dad to build (and knock down) sand castles - he even managed to make a few without any assistance!

After a walk down to the waters edge, it was soon time to head home for bed!
