Fixin' Jesus

There are little Mary, and Jesus, and Mary & Jesus altars strewn over Polish landscape everywhere. On the dusty roads, as well as in the middle of cities, these figures quietly observe from above all the human mess we make. Sometimes, they may need help. Take the one above: apparently, Jesus suffered from a heartache. I observed the gent with his red gloves making repairs to Jesus' heart. He did so with plaster, cautiously, and with reverence. The whole scene was very surreal.
