Not football

Last night ended this morning. However everyone seemed very fit this morning.

As I didn't manage to write up much last night, first some catching up:

Luna's first owners, Matteo, Alina, Steffi and Oliver from Berlin arrived Sunday afternoon for a short stopover on their way to Austria for their summer holiday. For those with long memories, they visited us last year on the same day.

Yesterday was mainly watching TV on the terrace - as Gary Linecker said when Germany put England out of the 1990 World Cup and went on to win it:
"Football is a simple game; 22 men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win."

This morning to shake down, Angie & Alina went out for a ride while the rest of us drove around to watch them. Afterwards we went to the Katzbrui Mill near here for a walk and a drink/snack. Sadly the gastronomic offerings have not improved - shame as it's a nice site.

In the evening, as he did yesterday, Oliver took charge of the BBQ and did a great job. However the effects of the late night meant we all went to bed early.
