Through a lens darkly

Bottling day

Today Simon and I have mostly spent our time sterilising beer making equipment, setting up a new batch of beer and bottling up 41 bottles of pear cider.

For me, this is a labour of love since the kits we bought all contain wheat (even the cider kits for some unknown reason) which means I can't drink them. It takes hours of effort, but the end result is tasty (so I'm told) beer/cider for about 30p per bottle. Not bad, eh?

I took this shot by removing my lens baby lens and holding it slightly in front of the camera body in order to get a more macro tilt-shift shot. Risky, but fun!
