British Superbikes, Big Brands Bash

A beautiful sunny day which turned rainy and thundery just in time for Race 2... You can see the looming clouds in my main photo.

In the smaller photos you can see a shot from a dry Race 1 on Paddock Hill Bend (centre photo). Shane Byrne (67) is leading James Ellison (77), Ryuichi Kiyonari (23) and Chris Walker (9). Kiyo went on to win this one.

The other two photos were taken on the grid of the second restart of Race 2. Accidents brought red flags in the first two attempts - all riders ok but being checked out at hospital. The top one is Shane Byrne who we saw on Thursday and the bottom one is of Josh Waters who got his first ever BSB win in Race 2.
