Knitting Bomb

The steel statue of a shepherd and his dogs at the base of Mt Iron that commemorates the worlds first recorded dog trials held nearby in 1867 has been "bombed" by Wanaka's elusive knitting sleuth "knitsy".

I'm not so sure the crusty old farmer would have appreciated the pom pom's but it makes a few locals smile.
