Out early on my bike. Best part of 2 hours, headed north towards Böhmfeld. Pushed myself hard and enjoyed it.

A beautiful morning with a strong easterly to keep the heat down.

It’s great to be out into open farmland just 2 minutes from the house.

Flight back to Edinburgh in the evening. The red eye. Leaves at 21.50 and arrives at 11.10. Home for 12.30, all being well.

A 6.45am alarm on Thursday morning. Ach well...
