Dougal and Florence

Another very hot day so we did not do as much as we might have done, but I do not intend that either of us should become ill due to the heat. Victoria finished sorting and wrapping my thimble collection and I am pleased with the way things are progressing.

Dougal and Florence, like the rest of us are very hot and seeking shade, either under the trees or on the floor; Dougal preferring the bathroom floor to any of the others. This picture shows them under one of the Pear trees, sitting on some of the earth, which was excavated from the pond area, by the builders, over eight weeks ago and just left in heaps in the garden.
