Hydrangea

This is one of the shrubs we moved when we started decreasing the size of the flower beds and I'm happy to say, it survived the move quite well. We also moved a bunch of purple cone flowers, some Oenothera (Ozark Sundrops), and some daylilies. Everything is doing well, and I'm thrilled to see grass coming up in that area. So we still have must as many flowers, but much less flower bed.

The rain didn't amount to much, just a drizzle. Warm and muggy. Friends had asked us to feed and water their three chickens while they were away for a few days, and when we stopped there last evening we were quite surprised to see lights on in the house - they had decided to come home a day early and were just sending me the message as we were driving over. So we had a nice visit, it was fun to hear the kids talk about their fun while it was still fresh.
