Poland and the Tropical Islands

Our first wet day this week in Berlin. After four days of fab weather the rain that has been forecast every day finally arrived.

We had a very lazy morning and then decided as we weren't that far away, we should visit Poland. Due to the weather we didn't stay long but it means Rosie has now visited 10 countries so it was a good milestone to tick.

After that we headed back into Germany and South from where we're staying to visit Tropical Islands. This is a huge indoor complex with various swimming pools and slides as well as tropical vegetation, shops, cafes and accommodation. It's all built inside a former airship hangar, the biggest free-standing hall in the world. It was a huge structure but located on a former airfield did seem an odd place for a holiday resort. Anyway away from the rain we had fun before driving back through the rain.
