Goodness gracious, great balls of... ice!

A long day (birthday kids awake at sunrise...) ended with a bizarre and spectacular storm over our part of Brittany. Torrents of rain, lighting rapid as paparazzi flash, dense low lying fog, and huge hailstones leaving snowdrift like areas everywhere. The hire car bonnet looks like the surface of a golf ball now, nothing compared to local properties damaged and flooded.
Still, birthday boy Beau thought it was 'awesome', a birthday not to forget.
