Prison

The photo class I assist went to the zoo today - I could barely get out my camera, the eyes of the inmates staring right at me - too much. Then I got to thinking that the street photos I like to take make kind of prisons around my captures - and now I wonder if that will appeal to me in the same way.

The orangoutang here opened his eyes to peek out at me, then closed them, back and forth. Hard to witness - felt like I should be helping him break out - to do what. This zoo does work hard at the education mission and the conservation issues. But still-----
