A foggy night in Edinburgh Town

The city of Edinburgh has been used many times in films thanks to the gothic charm of the old town and when the sea harr comes in it just adds to the eerieness of the city. I had been out at a Google Local event at the nearby Signet Library, incidentally where Adam Smith was a writer when he was alive, and on the way back to the New Town I turned to see the economist and philosopher looking down bathed in a pool of light and St Giles cathedral covered in thin mist. Quick boost of the ISO and open up the aperture and I got this. Could definitely be a shot for the Weekly Blip Challenge of Out and About using a kit lens.
