Splash!

Yesterday I said,"If only ...." , but of course I have the butler/photographer and a jetty for him to stand on with my camera!

So for today's swim, the evidence. I had been swimming for about ten minutes in a flat calm sea when a series of lovely breakers came in ..... as often happens when a tanker, ferry or cruise ship has passed.

The jetty is just visible to the left of the photo.

And the butler was careful to protect the Nikon, by getting soaked himself! At least, fingers crossed: my first SLR (a Practika weighing several tons) fell victim to salty water. I was heart broken until I discovered that due to falling prices, the new-for-old insurance policy took me to a far superior model!
