A Promise of Things to Come

I love the crimson flowers of runner bean Painted Lady, the bees are busy, so lots of beans to look forward to. With all the bee activity going on in the garden it really brings it home how important these pollinators are to food growing.
Challenging enough to be in work on such a beautiful sunny day but I'm so grateful to be able to go for a swim at lunch time and cool off.
