Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Opening Ceremony

I'm just getting to round to sorting my photos from the opening ceremony and because I've created this collage today it needs to be today's blip even though the actual pics were taken on 23rd. It was a fantastic evening, everything went so well. I just wish they hadn't asked Rod Stewart to "headline", I'd have preferred a proper Scot for that role. My son was completely puzzled by Rod being the "star", and when you think about it, why would any young Scot see any connection!
