The Life of Bri

The Big Day

And a busy day it was too. Started with shots of the groom at 1pm and was still shooting at about 2am.

Things went pretty well, although not everything went according to plan - largely due to the huge alpine thunderstorm at about 5 o'clock - when we were supposed to be doing group photos with a nice mountain backdrop. Unfortunately the rain never really let up after that, so we ended up doing the groups in the marquee. Organising a million French people was the hardest part of the day!

The location for this shot was the groom's idea - a fantastic backdrop, but did require the bride to abandon her fancy shoes and don walking boots. They own a house in the village below and the champagne and canapes were served around the village water fountain.
