The dogwood in our garden is a popular roosting spot for butterflies. This evening there are at least a couple of Ringlets and this Large White settled in for the night.  I photographed this one a couple of hours ago, and it's still in exactly the same spot.

This is the first Large White that I've managed to get a decent close-up of this year, so it's earned its place in my Butterfly Blips 2014 list.
