Me and my shadow

Yesterday's Dragonfly picture was the Common Darter. Today it's the turn of the Common Blue Damsel Fly. Sorry they are all common. I wanted something rare!.

(PS I am told this is in fact a Banded Demoiselle - I stand corrected)

Anyway there are loads of then about in this warm weather.

Jane and I went down to the river to let Bess cool off. I intended to blip Bess retrieving sticks from the river but I liked this Damsel Fly on a branch in midstream. Jane said she was getting ready to blip me when I fell in but she was disappointed.
