Friday 29 January 2010: Sisters
Our two old hens, Madeye and Scrounger can be cantankerous and grumpy with the ducks and downright horrible with passing tourists.
With us they are very friendly, good company around the garden and despite being 6 years old still supply us with eggs.
But, as you can see, they keep they real affection for each other. A sisterly hug to keep each other warm on a bitterly cold day.
