I stopped complaining about how heavy my handbag was after being at the Commonwealth Games weightlifting tonight.

What a brilliant night watching the 69k mens final.

One of the best things about the Commonwealth Games is watching athletes at the top of their career for sports you never normally watch.

Congratulations to all the competitors and Malaysia who won the gold. I think weightlifting will always be a spectators sport for me.
