Not the ideal container

I have come across a number of old items of photographic kit (I do mean old!) which I think I was probably given when I first developed (sorry) my interest in photography while at school.

One such item possibly was this old bottle that I found. Labelled "DEVELOPER" it is totally unsuited to its supposed purpose - it's made from clear glass (not dark), and the glass stopper (I assume) is missing too, so not only would your developer go off due to the light, but also due to the oxygen getting to it.

It's also as dusty (having come out of the loft after a good number of decades) as anything found in Threlkeld (LPHers will know what I mean).
