Shock hockey

I wanted my mum to experience some of the Commonwealth buzz so we went into town with the intention of visiting Glasgow Green & the Merchant City.

We weren't long in Glasgow Green before a very kind chap from one of the Commonwealth sponsors gave us four free tickets to the hockey. Result!

We had excellent seats in the shade where we watched the Aussies thrash England. As with the weightlifting yesterday, I only really had an idea of the rules by the time the game had finished (and I used to play hockey at school - badly).

Merchant City for a wander afterwards.
