Monday: Impending Storm

There was a storm brewing for most of the day and by 3 pm this afternoon the skies were looking really threatening.  This was the view out of my office window, just before the rains started.  In the end, although the rains were heavy, the storm itself was almost disappointing.

K. is on her way to the UK, having left me a freezer full of food.  I can't ever say that I'm not well looked after - she was cooking up a storm this weekend.
