Back to the Merovingian period...

Some archeology volunteers found something special, a medieval settlement and also a Merovingiana burial field...
They found hundreds of tracks and finds from the Early and High Middle Ages (ca 500 - 1300 after Christ). They found an iron sword, a knife and a clasp, but also a 'knikwandpot'( pottery which they put in to the grave) from The Merovingain time...

Tomorrow the archaeologists give a tour, see if I have the time to go...
