Snorkeling at Anini Beach

Since we got to bed so early yesterday, we were both up early this morning. Ready to get this vacation started!! We need to make the most of our time here.

While on Kauai we are staying in the Princeville area, which is on the North shore of Kauai. After breakfast we headed into Princeville to get some groceries. That’s the beauty of staying in a condo with a full kitchen ~ saving on food costs. We usually eat breakfast in the condo and some other meals as well.

After lunch we headed out to Anini beach to do some snorkeling, which isn’t far from where we are staying. This picture was taken while snorkeling. We had purchased a new underwater camera just for this holiday! And it worked great! Even though it was hard to see the screen on the back of the camera to know what you were taking a picture of. LOL!

For supper we went to the best burger place on Kauai ~ Bubba Burgers in Hanalei! There are three locations of Bubba Burgers on Kauai. The burgers and fries are awesome!

While here on Hawaii the day isn’t complete without seeing the sunset over the ocean. So we headed back towards Anini beach to watch the sunset. When we got down there we saw these newlyweds having their wedding pictures done. It was an excellent way to end the day.
