Herm

Today we took the three children to Herm for the day and this is Miss V standing on the beach at low tide!

Herm is the small island about half an hour on the ferry from Guernsey. Apart from a few tractors there are no vehicles there and so walking is the order of the day!

We walked and walked to Shell Beach on the East side of the island. The beach there is long and there are many tiny shells which come on the Gulf Stream. We collected some tiny shells and made some sandcastles with Miss V.
Altogether a beautiful fun day though we are pretty tired after the long hot walk!
