The Stash - part of it

Many years ago - in a previous century - I was keen on tapestry. There was a really lovely series of tapestries out of Germany all based on the world famous Unicorn tapestries.

So I thought it would be lovely to make one. I bought the canvas, spent quite a lot of money on all the tapestry wool, set it up on the frame, but couldn't really get into it.

So I was left with a mountain of yarn.

I got it out today and have set myself the task of using it all up.

I've decided to take up crochet again - I used to be quite good at it (also in a previous century) but it's been many many years since I last did any.

Wish me luck - I rather think I am going to need it.
