Faded

Among the voluntary work that my mother did for the Red Cross, she used to help disabled people to go shopping in the Arndale Centre (now known as The Mall). For her years of devotion she was awarded this certificate. She must have been proud of this one - it was framed and hung in the house, and consequently has suffered from fading.

Radio Bedfordshire is now 3 Counties Radio, and Pam Spriggs is the Pam Spriggs of Songs of Praise fame, who also had a radio show.
