Here today, gone next year!

This muddy cliff near Mappleton is eroding at the rate of about three metres a year, so where I'm standing will be gone this time next year.
Pretty alarming, isn't it?
Note the upper group of dots at the water's edge, just above the big patch of exposed sand? that's all that's left of a second world war blockhouse, that was built on top of and set back from the cliff edge.
On the same stretch of exposed sand lower and to the right, a family is having a picnic...gives you an idea of the scale of the place, doesn't it?
