Beverly Beach Sculpture

Beverly Beach State Park is a magical place in that one camps in the coastal forest within easy walking distance to Beverly Beach.

Spencer Creek runs through the campground and then under Highway 101 and finally it meets the Pacific Ocean.

The trail to the beach follows Spencer Creek under the Highway 101 bridge.

An Oregon State law states that the beaches belong to everyone.

Of course that means the driftwood that collects on the beach can be used for making sculptures.

The longest of the upright driftwood logs in this sculpture next to Spencer Creek is about 15 feet (5 meters).
