We wanted to be in two places at the same time this evening, but had to be content with a short stay at the NSEA (Nooksack Salmon Enhancement Association) picnic, and a quick dash to the Pies and Pints event at the Lightcatcher Museum.

The barbecued salmon wasn't ready when we left the picnic, and there were only two of the three kinds of pie left at the Museum event. We weren't too upset -- there was plenty to eat at the picnic, and we didn't really need the third piece of pie!

It was such a beautiful summer evening that we couldn't resist a visit to Zuanich Park before coming home.

In case you're wondering, the lights in the panels were spelling out vertically scrolling words, but I couldn't capture them in any of my photos. Here's a photo of the explanatory caption, courtesy of Cynthia.
