This old house

New Zealand is littered with old wooden houses that have been abandoned, neglected and fallen into disrepair. I find each and everyone fascinating. I always 9without fail) wonder about the families that have lived there,the stories they could tell etc.

I was talking to locals today about places to visit for a different perspective. One friend suggested this particular road, not for the house shot but for the view of the Waiau it gave. And I did indeed take lots of shots and of the mountains in the background (the weather was making them look pretty interesting!) But I saw this old place with the tree growing up, out of and through the place and it had to be my blip.
