A very full day!!!!

Up early in the morning, and off to the Riverside Museum in Glasgow. Because of the road alterations and roads closed etc. for the Commonwealth Games, we took a different route..... we drove to Govan and crossed the Clyde on the free Govan Ferry. It was great fun and our two little visitors, and their mum and dad, enjoyed it very much. I took the photo looking up towards the Science Centre and the Squinty Bridge. Possibly better in large mode.

The Riverside Museum was a huge success, and it was hard to get them to leave. The 'Glenlee' an old sailing ship, is berthed alongside the Museum, so we were able to have a tour of it also..... both the museum and the 'Glenlee' are free entry, it was a really good deal. C came to meet us there, and we had coffee before crossing the Clyde again on the ferry and driving down to the Science Centre and BBC building, where there is lots happening just now, and there is a large screen to view the Games. We spent rather a long time there too, and have just come home with two very tired little boys, and four very tired big adults.

The weather was wonderful, about 23C most of the day and sunny, and made it all so nice when we had our sandwiches sitting outside at the river.

Tomorrow is another adventure, I hope.
