Elusive

One of the reasons the Little Egret has found to keep him at the lake at The National Archives is the superabundance of large, juicy dragonflies, which the Egret seems to like. He is better at snapping them up than I am at snapping them - I loosed off scores of shots this lunchtime, but this was the best I managed. This one is, I reckon, about 4 inches long, it's a giant insect!
