BethaBlip 92...

This is my monthly track of my children as they grow to see how they change as time goes by. I take the same photo in the same place each 1st and 15th of each month along with a wee diary of what has happened and how life has progressed for each of them. Bethany on the 1st and Ewan on the 15th. It is quite remarkable and is accentuated by the 1 year ago thumbnail down in the bottom right.

Bethany just got back from athletics tonight. All this Commonwealth Games games has made her want to try athletics. They do a taster session up in Dunfermline and she was up. Not heard everything about it but apparently there was a lot of running and flexibility.

Although it is the holidays which generally leads to later nights. We’ve been having some issues with Bethany’s bedtime routine. It’s getting past 10:30pm and she’s still rattling about up there.

We went on our first trip in the camper van while I was off. We headed up to Oban. Unexpectedly Bethany expressed a lot of interest in learning to scuba dive. There was a school near our campsite and she was very insistent. I really fancy trying it myself so maybe sometime in the future we’ll go back there for that.

Another first while on holiday that I didn’t realise. Paddling in the sea. We went out to Tentsmuir Forest out past St Andrews and it was warm enough to swim in the sea. Bethany had a dress on so couldn’t get right in but she seemed to really enjoy getting right up to her waist in it.
