Yellow Peril

Today was the first day of the two day Vintage Vehicle Week-end in Hebden Bridge.
It's generally held over the first week-end in August. The weather during the week was good (except Friday) and today started just about dry but the rains came at noon.
In honour of yesterday (Yorkshire Day) - this is a rather special Yorkshire made vehicle owned by a friend of mine.
It's a 1951 Bradford Utility deLuxe, manufactured by Jowett Cars of Idle, Bradford.
It cost around £780 when new, and its vital statistics are:
Top speed 50mph. 0 - 50 in just under a minute and it managed 35 mpg.

Oh for the good old days :-)
