Gathering

Hmm...they said there were going to be 2,000 Quakers here - wonder where they all are? Perhaps they're hiding in the tent and are going to spring out and surprise me...

Day 1 of Britain Yearly Meeting Gathering in Bath, and as it's my first time attending it, I have to be prepared for anything. It's been a day of wonderful surprises already, meeting old friends and making new ones. And yes, the Quakers were all in the tent - just a bit later on in the evening, for the Welcome session, with me among them.
