Accidental crop

When HD created a mini rain garden around our mailbox to redirect some of the storm runoff from up the road, he used plenty of compost in the soil mix. Imagine our surprise when this spring 3 tomato plants popped up. One didn't get far as it was growing in the spot with only about an inch of soil, but the other two did quite well, and even gave us a few tomatoes. Here is LM, harvesting the biggest and ripest one.
