Sunday 31 January 2010: Pond Of Dreams
I find the meditative state induced by a motorway journey gets my mind thinking about all sorts of obscure things.
Today's big question? If one wanted to establish a duck pond where one had not previously existed, how would one go about it? Would you simply dig a big hole, fill it with water and wait for them to show up, Field Of Dreams style? Or would you buy the ducks and introduce them to the pond? If the latter, how would you stop them flying away?
