Wednesday 1 November 2006: The Bike Mechanic
Another day, another portrait - well a snap really. Meet Derek - our bike mechanic. He's the last of a dying breed - the owner of a small independent bicycle shop with only himself working there. Does a great job and is a real part of community, everyone pops in to get their bikes done - you know it's good 'cause wee boy's are always hanging around getting bits and bobs for the machines at the weekend.
