Night Ride

A few meetings at work today, as usual. Lunch with the head of TradeMe travel, good to hear their plans and working closer together.

3pm school pickup, then off to the optometrists for an annual recheck for Hannah. Outcome, they recommended glasses as she appears to be working hard, compensating to read properly. No sight issue, just over working, which glasses should help reduce. Which in turn means their (theoretically) is more brain power available for cognitive functions. You kind of have to believe them, they are specialists, so I nodded, said yes, and got out the credit card … If all goes to plan, she’ll be a genius within 3 years ;-)

Home, chores, then on my bike at 6.15 for a loop around the port hills, home at 7.45. Another classic night, riding most of the way in a t-shirt, in the dark of course. Just beautiful.

I love turning all the lights off, and just riding by the city light, there’s plenty of it despite being far away. Just magic.
