Konig

We dived the Konig today, the first of her class, and the most heavily salvaged of the three scuttled battleships remaining in Scapa Flow.

We dived the stern section at 34-ish metres. It was dark and the vis wasn't that good but we managed to find the remaining low pressure steam turbine, the 12" armoured wall of the citadel and the gap where the fourth of her five 50cm guns sat. This is the gap taken in low light conditions, so my two buddies shone their torches on it for me.

I fitted inside the gap with all my kit on, it was a big gun!
